I've just checked my Windows 10 PC and found it had an old (v0.11.4) 32bit version of Stellarium installed which was running perfectly. I've now removed that and installed the 64bit current version and it too runs normally.

I can check it again, but I think I'll do that when I have more time and patience.

In the meantime, I downgraded my PC to Windows 7 (what a relief!) and used an older version of Stellarium. It works great now.

I'm running windows 10 with ver 14.3. The only problem I have is if I leave it running and go outside, when I come back later the screen is messed up and I have to go to task mgr and go back. Sometimes I have to close program and restart. I love it so far but still trying to figure it out and get my equipment set up correctly.

I know that it will be a big help as I use it more and set all the setting correct.

This is by far my favourite program/app. I had this on my computer on both Linux and Windoze long before I joined the forum's. The mobile app has to be paid for, but it works flawlessly. Long live stellarium..

Win7 is not a downgrade, it's actually an upgrade. Hehe :-)
