afigueroa or anyone else. I have a word document that I can convert to a PDF file for how to do this type of thing in GIMP. The first one is on doing a galaxy and I'll do a couple of more that are shorter in size. The first one teaches how to use some of the components of GIMP. I tried to upload it to Google Docs so I can link it in my blog but I need to break up the document into 3 parts probably. I'll do that hopefully in the next couple of days. PM me if you want it and where to send it to if you can't wait.

I really love the sketches you do and thank you for walking through the process from start to finish.
I have an interest in this area and now have a better understanding of it. Plus as I have cs4... I only really need to upgrade to some HB pencils.
    Thanks again Jay.
