Great sketches; reminds me how much practice I still need.

Awesome. I really want to start sketching, and this gives me a great goal to shoot for. What mag were these observations at?

For the 2" 30mm power of about 43x
With the 2x barlow a power of about 86x
I have a 2" 18mm ep as well but the barlow gave better definition to the globular clusters.
As a side note I try and use quality paper and sketching pencils of various grades B,HB,F,H,2H and 4H.
Unfortunately my scanner just does not due these sketches justice.

Nicely done Gerry. Gives me a kick in the posterior to get started in the learning process.

Hope you don't mind - I've inverted your originals Gerry - Here they are at a more forum-friendly 800 pixels across in a 'White-on-black'.
