Default Try out version of M15

Since short I am the owner of some nice fine-liners and a blending stump. Mental4astro told me to use one. Until than I used sharpened erasers, I copied that technique from my old dad. Time to use new techniques!

M15 being a globular cluster looked like a nice new challenge to me. I had never before sketched globulars. Or only bad attempts. On the 20-th sky was clear, apart from the big orb :-)) ( learned the word orb from you guys) At the telescope I almost panicked, how on earth could I sketch all those stars? I decided to do what other sketchers in my neighborhood do: sketch the main stars of the field, make some notes and do the rest inside.

The sketch is more of an artist's impression than a picture of the real thing with correct positions and all. The original was sketched, photographed, put into a smaller scale, tungsten color was taken out, made negative. In "Paint" I added the cirkel and the text. The original drawing is underneath the finished one. I hope you will enjoy it.

The one one likes to show:
