    Default Southern sky challenge sketch awards.



    INTRODUCING THE SOUTHERN SKY CHALLENGE SKETCH AWARDS!!!



    Award Categories:

    1. Southern sky S40 Sketch Award Certificate and Icon (any 40 Southern sky challenge objects)
    2. Southern sky S80 Sketch Award Certificate and Icon (any 80 Southern sky challenge Objects)
    3. Southern skyS110 sketch awardCertificate and Icon (all 110 Southern sky challenge Objects)

    Time Limit: none

    Acceptance criteria:

    1. The sketch should be "quickly recognized" as the Southern sky challenge object by an experienced observer or by comparison to a known photo of the object.

    2. The person making the application must have made each sketch unassisted.

    3. The telescope used for the sketch must be owned by the person making the application; internet telescopes and rentals are not permitted.

    Application
    :

    1. Start a new thread on the Astronomy Sketching Forum.
    2. Submit your sketches as attachments to postings in your thread. You can put five attachments per posting. Include the Name of the Southern sky challenge Object in the file name of each sketch to aid in its identification. For each of the five attached sketches include the following information in the posting:
    a. The Name of the Southern sky challenge Object
    b. The date of the sketch
    c. The telescope used
    d. Any other information you wish to include (none is perfectly acceptable)

    Please note an application containing 40 sketches will need a minimum of 8 postings to your thread.

    After the member has completed posting the sketches, send a PM to both KingClinton and Bladekeeper. Please include a link to the thread. A moderator will approve the posts with a follow up post.
