Those are truly great. What a nice job. Keep it up.
Clear skies,
James
Two more I managed to sketch the other morning.
I tried M83 several different nights and managed to find it without difficulty. Each time I was surprised by how small it looks. It was barely distinguishable from a star. The core of galaxy is bright. But I could barely see any extension beyond the core.
M92 was much brighter than I was expecting. It was my first time to see this object.

I decided not to waste the weekend just because of a little old moon out there in the sky. So I tried a sketch, using my refractor.
I obviously missed most of the stars in the FOV (the moon washed out anything dim). In a way that's precisely what I was aiming at -- getting a sketch which highlights the brighter stars in the Sagittarius star cloud.

I concentrated on a some galaxies earlier this week. Since I'm on the equator, M81 & M82 were difficult. I had the scope lowered almost as far as it will go--almost down to the horizon. These galaxies must look a little brighter for those of you further north this time of year.
This is what I was able to do:

I got enough of a break in the clouds to do one sketch. Not the most exciting Messier object, but here it is: M18. It looks like a small arrowhead to me.

I limited the FOV using a 9mm Plossl, since this open cluster is quite small.

I finally managed to get to a dark site (Vipingo, Kenya) and I'll be here for a couple of weeks!!!
I've been here many times before. The skies are not terribly clear at night this time. Lots of high altitude haze in the air. Makes the moon and Venus look fuzzy, naked eye. Anyway, even with this handicap, I finally managed to see M101, though only dimmly.
So here are my sketches for M84, M86 and M101:
