    Default Another report in real time. 10/04/03



    22:45: The mak is set up and polar aligned through a convenient gap in the clouds, waiting for that little patch of dark blue in the chart pictured below. This will be a good test of the accuracy of the CSC.

    23:10: Still no alighment stars showing.

    23:45: Solid overcast. I guess the CSC is a bit out, timewise, and my clear spot was when I saw enough to polar align. Also, Tantalus is 20km away. Time to pack it in, I guess.

    04/03? Are we in a time warp? What's going on? As usual, I'm hopelessly lost, never mind me ....
    I did get the point that the window of clear skies was measurable in microseconds, but hey, after 9 days x 24 hours of clouds over here I'd be happy with microsecond observation windows.
