    Default jupiters belts finnaly!

i finally saw jupiter belts 2 main dark brown on the center and 2 bright brown on the south and north side of the planet i used low power eypiece with 2x barlow afther looking at it only on a little higher on the horizon than i usually look the thing is that i live in a hight building and jupiter allways going behind my building to the west so i cant see him afther that. when he is on low horizon he is very fuzzy eaven in the low power eyepiece today i saw the belts i tried also the medium power eypiece but it was fuzzy again im sure if i could catch him when he is very high in the sky i could use eaven a high power one. i also saw alot of star clusters they are much more easy to locate without using any barlow lens with just low power eyepiece. i hope to have an opportunity to be in an open field without any buildings and be able to see everything

That is good news indeed. If you can see the colored bands, you may be able to detect a shadow transit.

Good going, Tom. If you could get to a location where you can see Jupiter at its highest you would see more detail. I hope that trip to the field will bring in some great views for you.
