    Default Fireball!!

Anyone in the Cdn Maritimes or the US Northeast see a huge fireball at 22:07 ADT / 21:07 EDT? From my POV on the Bay of Fundy, it moved from SW to S, about 10-15 degrees above the horizon. It took about 10 seconds to cross my naked eye field of view. It was brilliant white, with orange sparks trailing it, and cast shaadows on the ground.

An observer a couple of hundred km SW of me reported seeing it and hearing a sonic boom.

Actually, I had a camera in my hands at the time. I had just finished a series of wide angle frames of the area of sky that the fireball went through, and was re-aiming the tripod to take some towards the zenith. I didn't have time to re-aim the camera, and TBH, didn't think of it! I was too busy oohing and aahing to engage my brain.
