    Nice report, Mary. Yes, it is an odd hobby, perhaps why I like it so much. Being alone in the dark (pets accepted), just you and the cosmos.
    Yeah, I live for those nights!

    Very nice night out under the MW, Mary! Congrats on finally getting M51. I have a kind of affinity for that one as it was my first galaxy(ies). For as much as I like taking someone new out and showing them the night sky, I prefer the alone time. Makes it easy to get sucked into chasing some of the faint objects that are on the edge of visible.
