Central Ohio here too. We've seen a handful, out in the middle of nowhere, over the course of the last hour or so.

I think we may have all seen the same bright one. I saw one around 1am moving very slowly from Ursa Major towards Polaris. Very strange direction so maybe not even a part of the shower. It was incredibly bright with visible fire trail off the back. Unfortunately, my wife didn't see it as well even though she was out looking with me. She went in a little while ago and I came in to feed the cats and take a break. Heading out for another little while until I start to fall asleep again.

Guess i'll give it another hour and hope I change my mind

If any one is seeing a lot can you tell me if they are below the little dipper? because I live in the city I only have a real good view about 60 degrees up.

Just saw a spectacular meteor as I was setting up my camera. It was low on the western horizon, again a bright white head with a white-orange tail. It fragmented as it moved toward the horizon. A slow mover too, lasted about 2 seconds and left a faint smoke trail.

The regions of ursa major, ursa minor, draco, lyra, hercules and cygnus have the most concentration of the meteors as far as i have seen.
But one can never tell from where they would pop out.
    Good luck.

The night started cloudy SW of Houston where I am located but then became mostly clear around 1AM. I went out for 1.5 hours and saw 1 short lived white in Draco. After the 1.5 hours I decided the moisture was getting too much for me since I am just starting to get over a case of bronchitis.

So far not too much to write home about. From what I've seen the rate is on par with a minor annual meteor shower. But the ones I have seen were very nice, all bright and slow moving. Got some clouds moving through now, hoping they will quickly leave.
