Default Messier 30 Certificate (binocular) Report JG

Hello Admin, hello friends of small Messier Marathons,

enclosed is the extract from my logbook on Messier DSOs, as observed February through March 2011. The list starts with open clusters and ends with the galaxies - in the way as my logbook is organized. The smallest bino has been preferred, latest day of observation is in parentheses.
All observations reported here have been made from my backyard under suburban conditions in Bavaria, and with handheld binos.

    M35, M36, M37, M38: 7x35 (March 6th)
    M41: 15x85 (March 6th)
M42: 7x35 (Feb 21th), later with unaided eyes
M44, M45: with unaided eyes on all observation nights
    M46, M47, M50: 15x85 (March 6th)
    M1, M67: 25x100 (Feb 7th)
    M93: 15x85 (March 6th)
M97: 15x85(UHC filter): fairly bright disc (March 7th)
M76: 25x100(OIII filter): dim, rectangular form (Feb 6th)
M3: 7x35: dim fuzzy, but well recognized (Feb 25th)
    M53: 25x100: bright ball (Feb 25th)
M31: 7x35: bulge, just for the sake of counting (March 2nd)
M51: 15x85: oval shape, no bulge visible (March 2nd)
    M63: 15x85: comet-like, 1 front star (March 2nd)
    M64: 15x85: small but bright (March 2nd)
M65: 15x85(SkyGlowBaader filter): front stars, some uncertain mottling? - filter improves considerably the seeing on this Glx (March 2nd)
    M66: 15x85: spindle (March 2nd)
M81: 25x100: bright bulge and extended halo, great view, (March 2nd)
M82: 25x100: some nodes with averted vision, difficult to count them (March 2nd)
    M84, M85: 25x100: smudge (Feb 25th)
    M94: 15x85: disc (March 2nd)
    M95: 25x100: smudge (Feb 7th)
    M96, M99: 25x100: smudge (Feb 25th)
    M101: 25x100: fairly bright disc (Feb 25th)
    M105: 25x100: smudge (Feb 7th)
    M106: 15x85: spindle (March 2nd)
    M108: 25x100 with averted vision (Feb 25th)

Hello Andy, hello Gordon, hello All here around,

I have been dreaming about some another "Marathon", let's call it something like "those non Messier, non NGC, non IC, non William Herschel", you know. There are still many left DSOs.

What would you think about it?
