Are sketches a requirement? I just counted up the Messiers in my First Sight Log, and I have 40 of them, but I don't sketch each object (maybe I should start...)

EDIT: Never mind, I just re-read the original post. A new thread is underway...

Will there be a seperate sub-section for certification threads? It could get pretty messy if there isn't.

Don't worry you don't need images nor sketches.

Also its not too important for you - I am willing to fix the format - just have a list in a document like this:

    M1 - 11/3/2001 - Fuzzy small few details
    M2 - 11/3/2001 - Fuzzy round

    etc.

It would only take a minute or so, no need to make this too complicated The more savvy computer users can do the excel file, the rest can choose the format above.

My son and I are heading to Chiefland Astronomy Village next week for new moon weekend. Sounds like a great opportunity to get started!

    This is great!

Could I make jpegs of my drawings & put them in an album under the user CP & say - "Messier 30 list - see my album" with the notes about each object?
