This is the first of several photos of the Cat's Eye Nebula. I chose this challenging DSO in part to see whether my 130SLT could even capture the faint nebulosity with short exposures, and secondly to push me to refine my imaging and post processing skills. This photo is stacked jpegs using in-camera darks and an IDAS LPS-D1 light pollution filter. I had the region of interest centered wrong in DSS, so the nebula is not centered in the image.
