    As a private pilot, I’m not very enthusiastic about this... there’s too much military air traffic to watch out for as it is, and I have a hard time seeing how this is a value-add for civil purposes.

    Yeah, not what I mean. These still need pilots, just ones that are in basically a sensory deprived location, that actual pilots with real passengers have to deal with. And since you still have the pilot, I don’t see the value-add here. If we’re talking automating with sensors and software that will reduce accidents in the long term, I’m more interested. This just seems a bit useless. Like letting people play with full size RC cars on real streets...

    I would rather have that plane flying high overhead as opposed to those drones that will be delivering packages from large retailers.

    What could go wrong?

    Garrett Gemini 11X56 LW.
    CAMERA:
    Canon 1200D(T5), Mallincam hyper colour.
    SOFTWARE:
    Star tools,Stellerium, Starry night.
