Default Astronomy and other objects!?

Something random happend last night.I was looking at moon through my telescope when all of a sudden a huge plan flew in the way and I could see loads of Gas coming out of it and a few lights on inside the plane.A commercial airliner must of flew in the way of the Moon while my telescope was magnifying it,and I guess my scope magnified the Plane giving me a pretty detailed image. It was cool because little did I know I was filiming it so I can now go through the film again and again and by looking at the film I can now see way more details than I saw in a split suprised second.Anyway has this happend to you before?I also posted a video on youtube showing it![Registered users can see links. ]

Yep - it's happened to me a few times.
I've also seen planes pass in front of the Sun when viewing sunspots - and at night, have seen them pass through my field of view while looking at other objects.

And I've lost count of the amount of satellites and meteors that have shot through my field of view at night.

That is so cool that you caught that while filming. I had one fly through my view while looking at deep sky. With the lights it startled the heck out of me. Saw what I THINK was a meteor once, and many satellites. Saw the satellite Echo back in the 60s and was able to track it for about 10 seconds at around 90x or so. I could see that it was a silver ball.

When I lived near a major airport I would sometimes view the airplanes approaching or departing with my telescope. There is a lot of detail on them to be seen during the day.
