    Red face 117-Year-Old Clark Telescope!

Hey guys - I recently introduced myself and said I would post stuff with scopes over here at Lowell Observatory where I work.

I thought this would be neat to share first. I shot this video about the Clark Telescope (24" refractor Alvan Clark) for an indiegogo campaign we're doing to restore it to its former glory. Check it out! And hey, if anyone wants to get involved and be a part of the indiegogo, we could sure use the love.

The link: Restore The Clark | Indiegogo

I made the other videos, too, including the GoPro tour of the Clark! They don't make 'em like this anymore...

Thanks Stephen! There are two other videos - but I think you have to click on the updates tab to see them. Or here: Restore The Clark | Indiegogo

There's one with the GoPro, and another that talks about how we cover the viewing lens with a frying pan!

Thanks Mike & Bill!! We're working on adding a prize where you have a live chat with an astronomer/pick his or her brain type thing. I that would be a fun perk?

Hello Omoore. Wow, you and Kevin sure must have fun working with all the great historic, and other instruments at the Lowell Observatory. Thanks for the fascinating video on a truly great telescope, and best of regards.
