    Default A brief introduction.



    I am an ATM of 45 years, built two 24 inch Dobs one that won an award at Reverside. had John Dobson at my home north of Reno for a week! Wished it was a month! Am an old school astrophotographer that use to Hyper film and used dry ice imulsion cooling. I own the Celestron C-11 used in the Lumicon adds of the 80 ies. It has near perfect optics. I decided to join to share what I could as far as knowlage, and pick up on some new stuff!

    Welcome to the forum. 24" dobs are quite an ATM achievement. My best effort was a 6", but now use Celestron and Meade scopes.

    Between your scope and the Nevada night skies, you must get some fantastic views out there! I once stayed in Rachel, NV for a few days and couldn't believe the skies!
