OTA counter weight
Just finished making a counter weight for my C6 to help with the camera weight.
Celestron C6-SGT Advance Series Telescope, 32mm Super Plossl, 25mm Super Plossl, 12mm Super Plossl, 2x Barlow, f6.3 Focal Reducer, 13% Moon Filter, T-Adapter and Pentax istD DLSR camera.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Did you manufacture that base yourself or purchase a commercial product? If you purchased it, did you notice if there was an option that would fit the 3" cgem dovetail?
I'm trying to find/build something exactly like that, but wider to fit the wider mount dovetail. So far, no luck.

I have the same scope and need something like that myself. With my camera & flip mirror I'm clear at the far end of my dovetail.
Celestron C6 SGT
Meade 4000 eyepiece set
Orion flip mirror
Canon Rebel T3
