Greatest videos ever
Im sure many of you by now have seen some of the videos in the link, or at least pale blue dot or Cosmos : a personal voyage
However if you have not do your life a huge favour and watch them.

The entire series is also available for stream on netflix. I think much of it can be dug up on youtube as well. It's like over 14 hours of pure astronomy bliss.

Eamon - The Cosmos series was so awesome
I must have clapped my hands "billions and billions" of times after each show! He certainly enlightened many as to the world "up there" I was so sad when he passed

When I first saw the movie "Contact", and the words "For Carl" came up, I had a big lump in my throat. At the time I didn't even know he had co-written the book, but I knew which Carl it had to be, and thought it a very nice tribute, and was very sorry for his passing.
