    Default Favorite Eyepiece?

What is your favorite eyepiece? I am looking to get an extra eyepiece and would like some of your input. I will start, my favorite is the Zhumell plossl 32 mm.

Tough choice: but with my CPC1100

High power definitely my 10 mm Pentax XW (280x)
Low powered my Panoptic 35 mm (80x or 52x with a Focal reducer)

Same here Hernando ( MkII ) I also really like my 12.5 Illuminated Reticule, its great for PA'ing the scope at set up. I should get a really good WF Pano but I am more an AP guy than visual.

My 32mm TV plossl, but ONLY because it's been cloudy and I haven't been able to spend any time with my shiny new 27mm Pan.

The eyepiece that gets the most use in my box is the Agena SWA 26mm. Its a great eyepiece for the money, perfect for outreach events, and the perfect starting point in magnification. That eyepiece just always works. There are nights when thats the only eyepiece I use, but here it seems the transparency always is the stink.

The eyepiece that is almost perfect is my Nagler 13mm T6, which is really a take your breath away eyepiece, with just one problem, the 1-1/4 inch barrel. It just bugs me. I hate messing around with the 1-1/4 inch adapter in my diagonal. I really think Televue made a mistake not making this one a 1-1/4 - 2" eyepiece like the 12mm T4. Of course maybe I am just lazy.

To be honest, the only eyepieces I've used are the ones from the Celestron accessory kit and the 25mm plossl that came with my Nexstar. I would have to say my favorites would be the 15mm and the 32mm (for the Nexstar).
My new 12" Zob should be arriving at my doorstep soon and I have a feeling the 2" 30mm included eyepiece will be up on that list.
I'm thinking about a Baader Hyperion Zoom for the near future. I'm sure optically, its better than any of the eyepieces I've used and the ease of zooming instead of swapping out sounds nice too.

My most used is my Celestron 8-24 zoom but then again I don't own too many. I'm waiting for NEAF to see what's out there in person as I've only started in this hobby a few months ago.

BE PREPARED to spend BOTH days at NEAF...and still not see everything...

And I also advise you to have some idea of what you are looking for because there is so darn much "stuff" you head will be spinning ... and your jaw will be dropping every time you look in another direction....

    Truly an "experience"..
