Default kodak Z1275

i currently use this camera, but i dont know many methods on how to take good astrophotographs

i have taken one, but i had to manually hold the camera to the eyepiece to take the picture ( this picture can be seen in my thread on my NexStar 114GT )

i know there is an easier way to do this. i dont want to spend much money, $10 maximum.

Hi Dan,
thats a great point and shoot camera. I am not sure if there is a t-adaptor for it. I searched and doesn't seem to be one.

I would get a universal digital camera adaptor for telescopes:

Rigel Systems Main

also found this model:
Rigel Systems Finders

I saw a few for sale however they are much more expensive than your budget, usually $50-100. A bit pricey I would say, and in that range you could buy a used CCD or lower end CCD camera.

I would try getting a used webcam from Ebay or elsewhere, modify it yourself and stick it on the telescope.

Let me know if you find anything
cheers
