ZWO ASI 290 MM - standard or mini?

I am considering upgrading my old ASI 120MC to ASI 290 MM but can't decide whether to get the mini version or the standard version. I know the standard has USB 3.0 and the mini USB 2.0 and the mini is cheaper by about $150 here in Australia. Weight is not a problem as I use a 120mm Esprit refractor.

I was also hoping to attach the ZWO 8 x 1.25" filter wheel and try some planetary imaging with RGB filters.
The other use for this camera will be for guiding when imaging with my Canon EOS 77D.

Has anyone had experience with either of these two cameras and is there any significant reason to choose one over the other?

The difference in my experience is achieving focus, the mini is great for focus on mini guiders/diy focuse finder guider, was a bit of a problem with of axis guider, I would get the standard for the higher frame rate with the usb 3.0
