$200 budget for a DSLR? That's tight. First off what mount are you using with your C8?

If your Goal is Planetary / Lunar Imaging AND you are set on a DSLR, then you want to find an older Canon T2i (550D) or T3i (600D) because they are both Cheapest and Work well to capture Planetary Video.
If your Goal includes DSO's, then you really do need to keep to a DSLR in order to perform the Longer Exposures.
If your Goal is Planetary / Lunar Imaging and you don't really care about DSOs, then you could also consider one of the Less-Expensive Planetary Cameras - eg: ASI120MC.

And on your Tight Budget, remember that you will also need a T-Adapter such as this to Connect your Camera to your C8 Scope.
    ES AR152 / ES 80ED Apo / Orion 8in F/3.9 / C9.25-SCT / C6-SCT / C10-NGT / AT6RC / ST-80 / AstroView 90 / Meade 6000 APO 115mm
CGEM (w HyperTune and ADM bling) / 2x CG5-AGT / Forest of Tripod legs / Star Adventurer / Orion EQ-G
    550D (Modded-G.Honis) / 60D / 400D / NexImage / NexGuide / Mini 50 SSAG / ST-8300C / ASI120MM-S / ASI1600MM-Cool
Dark Skies in SW CO when I can get there, and badly light polluted backyard when I can't... (Currently Self-Exiled to Muggy Central Florida...)

When you can list all your gear. What do you mean by "Standard one"? If it's a n Alt/AZ style you will be limited for total exposure times if shooting DSO but planetary, lunar and solar imaging will be very easy to do. A GEM tracking mount with Goto is the best one to use. A Canon DSLR is the best choice IMHO. You have a few imaging programs that are made just for them like BYEOS and APT.

You need to be more specific. Most C8s came on fork mounts, but is yours a single-arm fork or double-arm? Is it on an equatorial wedge or is it alt-az-mounted? If you are totally unsure of what those terms mean, maybe post a photo of your unit.
