Default Poll: ISO? Focal Length? Subframe Length?

    Hello Everybody,

I am interested in some data to analyze and post afterwards on the forum.

It is mainly as simple as it gets:

    1. What ISO are u using?

2.What focal length are u using? ( Real length so substract the focal reducer please. Meaning focal length 2000mm with 0.7 reducer makes 1400mm)

    3. What is your general subframe length in minutes

If you have different settings for different objects than please do not make an estimate just take the poll twice for different ISO or subframe length.

Please just write the numbers 1, 2 and 3 before your answers, makes it easy and fast for me to analyze.

I hope a lot of people fill this in. This could be a big help for others to estimate what other people use as subframe length and iso setting in combination with focal length. And to get a general idea of how other people use their material, beginners would certainly like to know this.

    hmmm

The poll is not going to give me the results i want as it doesnt aggregate every answer. Sad... solution is ... Lol ... too many polls for any administrator to allow... hmmm....

Well than we'll have to do it the old fashioned way... so:

Please still mark the poll if you want, it will get a general idea... But please also answer in a thread with numbers 1, 2 and 3 as mentioned here above, i will aggregate them on my computer and than post results and change them as they come in and post them in the start of the thread.

    Thanks in advance!!!!

You've asked a very Open-Ended "Opinion" Question. One that is Asked and Answered very regularly on Threads throughout this Forum.

Perhaps you could simply read several of them, and then attempt to Put Advice to Practice with your own Equipment (which will significantly impact your results).

Besides... It's more fun to be Outside with your Scope and Camera pointed Skywards, than it is to be seated Indoors answering such questions...

Hi, thx for the poll. I have read quite a few but i will do some more

Not to worry, my scope is making circles outside i am using acp and my plan is loaded from now till 7 am, about 120 pictures are programmed on 7 objects always when they are going near the zenith. I do not have to interfere anymore just put my scope inside tomorrow... Awesome software... What a computer can do... I love it

I'm new here, could you point me in the direction of a couple of those threads please?
I have questions about these questions that I need answers to before I can start asking questions that give me usable answers.

That wasn't so confusing in my mind.
