Default For sale 9x60 mead finder

I have a vintage Mead 9x60 finder for sale, It was purchased sometime in the 1990"s ,it would be A nice addition to a classic dobsonian
coatings look good I added the leather strap cause the cap would always get lost in the dark. The red stripes I added cause it fit the paint scheme , They can be easily removed if not wanted. This a fine finder,I never used the lighted reticule so I can't guarantee it still works
but it should I never needed it.No dings or dents it may have what is considered normal wear but still appears to be in excellent condition.
I would like $85.00 (firm) for it I will pick up the shipping on it.
I can except PayPal, Cashiers check or money order. Shipped to U.S. only.
    Mounting bracket is included.

    Thanks for looking Rob

Dang it! Wish I would have seen this earlier. I just bought one of these and paid $125 for it without the mounting foot!

I was wondering what the screw spacing is on your finder shoe where it attaches to the scope tube? So far, I am not able to locate a finder shoe that has the exact hole spacing I need to attach the finder I bought to my Meade SN10. My scope came with the 30mm finder and it has a 19mm spacing, or about 3/4 inch, and the screws are inserted from inside the tube! It is not the typical Meade finder scope design used on their other scopes. Why Meade chose to use a non-standard hole spacing on this scope is beyond me. I checked ScopeStuff and they do not have the adapter I need with the correct hole spacing.

I am reluctant to drill new holes in the tube as I would need to take the front corrector off the tube to do so, so if the hole spacing on yours is the size I need I will probably buy your finder if it is still available.

Correction, the hole spacing is 20mm. And I am hoping that I can still attach the finder I bought on top of my scope's ring assembly if I can't find a way to attach it to the tube without buying more than one adapter! I should be receiving my finder scope in the next few days, so I am hoping I can find a way to attach it without too much trouble. If not, then I may still be interested in buying yours if your mounting base fits the hole spacing on my scope.

I think this is what your wanting I measured it with dial calipers 1.315 inches about 34 mm I think.
Sure hate to see you purchase one just for the foot section. Hope this helps.

Thanks for getting back to me on this! That mounting shoe won't be an instant fix for me, so I am going to figure out a way to attach mine somehow. I know it will end up with me taking the optical window/corrector out of the SN10 tube eventually, and that will give me an excuse to buy a Moonlite or similar focuser and flock the inside of the tube at the same time! I hope you sell yours soon.
