Default WANTED: Goto mount for my 6" reflector

I picked up an orion reflector last year and have been using the German EQ mount that came with it. I am wanting to upgrade to a goto mount I don't have any brand preferences as long as it will fit my scope.

    Thanks

I upgraded my mount for my 6" to an HEQ 5 goto.
If you plan to upgrade your scope to a bigger one, you can consider the EQ6, but I heard it's more difficult to transport

    Cheers

I'm using my Celestron C6-Newtonian (I think it's the same as the Orion) on a CG-5 and I like the combination. I have tried it on my CGEM, but it is a bit of overkill. The extra weight and height of the CGEM makes it much more difficult to setup and use. I prefer the shorter set up on the lighter CG-5. The accuracy and performance is about the same on either mount.

Like Stan said, the CG5 mount is a good alternative. It's being phased out of production by Celestron and some great deals are available for new ones at the moment. If you want an excellent mount that is also fairly light in weight the iOptron ZEQ25GT is an excellent one to consider.
