Default Meade ETX-125EC, great optics, RA motor out

I am the second owner of this ETX-125EC. Complete with box, books, etc. The R/A motor is not functioning, I did take the base plate off to see if there was a pinched wire or something to that effect, but my limited skills in that area precluded me from proceeding. I cannot hear the motor run at all, Alt/Az moror is fine. The failure occurred when I was going to attempt to image the ISS,10 seconds into the run I received the motor failure message on the Autostar controller, and the rest is history.

I know that Dr. Clay can fix the problem, but i'd rather sell it as-as, and let the new owner handle it.

The deluxe field tripod is included, the head tilts for polar alignment. I will also include the visual back adapter for camera attachment.

The optics are fine, I have imaged with it a bit, and was satisfied with the results. The Autostar controller is included, and has no issues whatsoever.

I can take Paypal (ill pay the fee), bank transfer, or cash. I will also pay land shipping to CONUS.

I'd rather sell the whole thing, ill consider breaking it up. I will consider any reasonable offers too.

Since I now have a 10" LX200, I really dont need this ETX any longer. Call/text me at 417-796-0053 with any questions or offers.

    Thanks for looking!

A Calibrate Motors will remove the motor fault error if there is NOT really a mechanical failure--- and a BETTER separate power supply is what you need to run the scope on.

Run the Calibrate motors routine and see what happens.

    Clear skies to you.

I ran the gamut of checks, total reset, train, calibrate, with no response (from the RA motor).

I toyed with deforking it, and either piggybacking it on my LX200 10", or railing it,and putting it on an inexpensive EQ mount. I really dont need a 2nd scope right now, and I cant budget for toys right now.

I don't know how to defork it, so ill sell the entire scope, minus the tripod for $300.00. Buyer pays shipping.
