Default 100° 2” Super Wide Angle Eyepieces

    Gday all,

For sale I have new 100° super wide angle eyepieces.
    I have a 9mm which has both a 1.25" and 2" barrels and a 16mm which is 2" only.
Both are new and never used.
They are of great quality and sell under a number of reputable brands in the US.

I am based in Australia but will post worldwide.
Asking AU$260 (about US$260) each or AU$475 for both + postage (about $15 depending on where you live).
I preferably would go by paypal.

I'm fairly new to this forum, so I understand you might have some questions and all. For peace of mind, you can easily find my feedback on ebay (near a 100 transactions, 100% feedback - nickname is similar to the one I have on the forum). Also, feel free to contact me for any questions you might have and I'll answer asap.

    Please PM if interested.
    Cheers.

What brand is this? Would you be able to give me the exact eyepiece description as sold by the company?

I'm very interested. If you could get back to me that would be great!

    Hi Caramon,

    Thanks for your message.
The eyepieces have no brand name attached to them (as you can see from the pictures I took): a number of shops in Australia sell them as such (direct import from the manufacturer I suspect) since the brands under which they are sold in the US (and other countries?) are generally not available to us down here, unfortunately.

Exact eyepiece description as it was given to me: (not much of a description, more a list of characteristics)

    2"- 100 degree Wide angle eyepiece 9mm, 16mm

    Characteristics: 9mm:

    Focal length: 9 mm
    Apparent field of view: 100°
    Eye relief: 12 mm
All air lens to air surfaces fully multi-coated
    8 optical elements
    1.25"/2" adjustable barrel
Threaded for 1.25" and 2" standard filters
    Rubber band
    Weight: 410g
    Length: 11.5 cm
    Bolt case

    Characteristics: 16mm:

    Focal length: 16 mm
    Apparent field of view: 100°
    Eye relief: 12 mm
All air lens to air surfaces fully multi-coated
    8 optical elements
    2" Barrel
    Threaded for 2" standard filters
    Rubber band
    Weight: 410g
    Length: 10.2 cm
    Bolt case

    Hope that helps.
    Let me know

    Cheers

They look almost exactly like the Zhumell Z100 eyepieces, Caramon. They're probably made by the same manufacturer. There's a few reviews of the Z100s floating around if you want a description.

Alright sounds like some excellent eyepieces, unfortunately I would only be willing to pay $400 Canadian as I am on a tight budget. Let me know if you are willing to sell them for this price.

These are the Zhumell Z100 eyepieces, the pics and the specs match. I have this 16mm and it's superb! I don't notice any bad habits with mine- it's one of my favorite EP's.
