She is actually a very nice lady, but yeah, I disagree with her book recommendation.

Hopefully she doesn't formulate an opinion on astro gear. If she gets a load of all my scopes, she may develop an unfavorable opinion.

My wife is fully aware of all of mine, but she has never seen them all at the same time. That might be detrimental to my hobby.

After looking at her site, this woman would hate to see the music room at home. Most likely have palpitations halfway through the door.

Hi Gabby We all love you for the great work that you do on here. I have thousands of books here, and it is a constant supplier of information to me. This lady is part of the "smart phone" generation, where they can't even drive down the street correctly anymore. Long live the printed media.

    Bryan,
This is a very smart strategy on your part.

It is much like, as an eight-year-old, when I spread the lima beans all around my dinner plate so I hoped it looked like I'd eaten most of them. Unfortunately, my mom wasn't so easily fooled.

Perhaps she meant to say... "Ideally keep less than 30 astronomy books" - That might be feaible... just (makes quick count...). A 30 book limit would be impossible even if I do also use e-books (although I do prefer to read proper printed books.

My kids produce clutter from no-where within a very short space of time... In fact the amount of clutter produced is inversly proportinal to the amount of tidiness or de-clutter attempted beforehand.

This reminds me of an old saying:

After having purchased a second family car, some German intellectuals consider to buy a second book.
This has been noticed as an increasing trend.
