Another question: Telescope or Eyepiece I know I have been posting several questions lately about an upcoming purchase and quite frankly the options are bewildering.
Well, I have narrowed down my search to 2 choices and I could really use help from seasoned viewers on this one.
Should I purchase a quality eyepiece ( 13mm ethos ) to further enhance my viewing experience with my 120mm refractor which I am already comfortable with.
OR
Should I purchase a 10 inch dob ( Orion Skyquest ) to cure the aperture fever I have recently caught. I would like to be able to view some DSOs that I am currently unable to obtain.
This is very difficult for me as I have yet to bless my 120mm with a quality eyepiece ( and I hear the term " your scope is only as good as your eyepiece" ) but at the same time I know for a fact that with a bigger scope I will be able to dwell deeper into space for those DSOs.
any wisdom to help sway my query?
