It's me again. I am sending some photos of my observation station in my tiny island. At the moment I am studying the night sky with my binos to acquaint myself better. Tomorrow I post the Google Earth file about my location.
The Astronomical Boat Trip video on You Tube shall be ready by next week.
The rock under my Sky Atlas looks like a meteorite but in fact a rock thousands of years old.

Hi David! Thanks for sharing the pic's of your observing site. The Google file on Malta is most interesting, too. I gather you have some very dark skies out at your site. "Fortunate are you for such conditions", Yoda might say...
Looking forward to your video.

Wow, nice, Like Bobdob said, we can only be so fortunate for the dark skies you are experiencing!

THe observation locations offer good darkness. One can see the Milky Way easily however the south eastern area at 15 deg has a lot of light pollution.
Yes, I am quite fortunate that I can go to remote places in our island (which are diminishing fast) and enjoy the night sky.
