the question is:

in the summer of 2005, i was traveling in the city of Gdansk, Poland, which is at a latitude of 55 degrees (thats about 12 degrees south of the arctic circle) I came out of a bar at midnight, and, as i looked towards the horizon i saw the twilight glow from the sun. what direction was i looking?

a) noth
b) south
c) east
d) west

Isnt it great how people would rather others do the work for them and earn a grade for someone else instead of said person taking a few moments to understand the material so they themselves can answer the question. This question is not that hard. Do a little studying of your materials and you will quickly understand how to figure this out. Your astronomy class can and will be very rewarding and interesting if you take some time to understand it and appreciate everything our solar system has to offer.
