What subject is harder, Geology or Astronomy?

That depends on two things - your point of view and your professors. Typically there will be more math in Astronomy - but not always There is more vocabulary to learn in Geology. I teach a non-science major Astronomy course, and I try very hard to keep the math down to the minimum - not all profs do that. My husband teaches the geology equivalent, and he does include some math (as much as I do). Your best bet is to talk to people who have taken those course from those professors (remember lots of profs teach the same courses, and they do it differently). |
