Hi i need to buy my kids a good scope.

Whats the best beginners Astronomy Telescope?

Go to Orion or Meade on the web and look at 4-6 inch Dobsonians. Depending on their age, 8" might be too big, but the ones I mentioned are a great size for young people.
Do not go to a department store and get something that advertises high power. Invariably they are junk.
