Default Got the bug, now which mount

    Hi All,
Yes I have the bug, going for bigger, better. So what should I get?
I have a SkyWatcher AltAz GoTo with a Mak 127
I now want a Newtonian 10" (possibly 12" if I can justify the extra $ and weight in my head), and based on that an EQ6 class mount. For Astro Photo reasons.
However, do I go for the straight NEQ6 Pro or the AZEQ6 Pro ($$$ does not bother me)? In other words am I wasting money on AZ capability when I should save and just get used to EQ only?
Also Saxton is identical to SkyWatcher mounts and cheaper, aside form warranty I don't see why one would not go for Saxton. Ideas?
    Cheers
    Phil

Saxon are Synta-made products as are the SkyWatcher, Orion, and Celestron.

AltAz is great for visual, and usable for astrophotography though you will be limited in the length of exposures you can make (30 seconds or less). An EQ mount is best for astrophotography.

As for the scope and AP, a newtonian will likely not have enough focuser travel to bring a camera to focus UNLESS it is specifically designed as an astrograph.
