    Default CGEM DX Polar Scope



    Using a celestron polar scope in my cgem dx question.
    The images in the polar finder Do they have to line up with my sky, if i loosen it up in the scope then it wobbles, not good
    Do I have to take it apart to move the image, and who males a illuminated one that will fit

    You need to rotate the mount in RA to match the polar scope image with the sky. Once that is done, then you need to adjust the altitude and azimuth to get Polaris in the little circle in the polar scope reticle.

    Rotate the mount in right ascension, not the polar scope. The polar scope will rotate with the mount.
