    I disagree. The software is able to run a wide variety of commercial mounts other than the Bisque Parmount. I use it to run my Meade and I have run Losmany mounts with it with absolutely no problems.

    I have been using Starry Night Pro but not for mount control. I use it mainly because I can create a 'photorealistic' custom horizon that models my location. With that I can determine when an object will 'rise' and set in the trees and adjust my sequencing accordingly.

    I didn't say you can't use it to control a non-Bisque mount, it's just that there are other programs available that aren't as persnickety as The Sky to do this. I use it to control my AP mount, and I find that it has too many quirks and buggy behaviors for my tastes.
