    Exclamation Does nebula really exist?



    I have heard rumours about this planet X aka Nebula. Does it exist?

    I think you mean Nibiru ... and no it's an on-line hoax that has been going on for years
    Beginner++: 4 months experience. Skywatcher 200PDS on HEQ5 mount with Synscan goto. Orion magnificent mini delux 9x50 guide scope with Orion Starshoot autoguider. Sony NEX-5N camera. Skywatcher 2" coma corrector. Toshiba Flashair wifi SDHC card. Long exposure IR Intervalometer. Using DSS for stacking and StarTools for post processing with a little bit of GIMP.

    Nibiru only exists inside lenses. Every supposed photo of Nibiru is an internal lens reflection.

    Well, there is a certain amount of evidence that there is a rather large planet which we have not yet located. Some have called this "Planet 9" or sometimes "Planet X". It is in no way a dangerous situation and there is some reason to believe it doesn't actually exist - the orbits which have suggested its presence could be due to other causes.

    But the idea that there is a Nibiru kind of planet which has or will wreak havoc on us is thoroughly debunked. It doesn't exist.
