Who knows which formula I should use to solve the following problem? I don't necessarily need you to solve the problem for me, but I'd like to know a formula to use/manipulate to get the correct answer... and maybe an explanation of how to use the formula if it isn't clear! Thank you! Ok, the problem: "The passage of a star within the boundaries of the Solar System has caused a tremendous catastrophe and thrown Europa in a new orbit around Saturn. Its distance from Saturn is the same as its old orbital distance from Jupiter. Its period has changed by how much compared to its old orbital period?" |
