Ideally I would like to go with the ES 82* 11mm and 24mm, but it is hard for me to justify that $265 price tag on the 24mm at the moment...
I might have to compromise with the ES 68* 24mm instead and might pick up the ES 82* 11mm.
But there is always that voice asking "Are you sure you are not going to regret?" lol...
Perfect ly understandable. I was also nervous dropping big $ on my first EP upgrade. So, I went with Amazon Prime. So, I had 30 days to return it if I don't like it.

    Instead of the 68* 24mm?
    Or as a third eyepiece?

My thoughts were instead of the ES 24mm 68 as you state the ES 24mm 82 was a little spendy so you were considering the 24mm 68. Well the 24mm 82 is wider than the 24mm 68 and 2". The ES 28mm 68 is wider than the 24mm 68 and 2" like the 24mm 82 but $75 cheaper. It would be similar to the 24mm 82 and wider than the 24mm 68 but at the lower cost.

    One question...
So I am getting a lot of feedback that the ES 82s are great value and works great with fast scopes. (mine is 4.9)
"works great with fast scope" is that assuming I am using a coma corrector?

They work great in any scope, especially a fast one. I have two sets of 'em that support a wide range of scopes for my wife and I.

Frankly, I've never had the need for a comma corrector on an 8" Newt.

No. This at the core of the difference between a $10.00 eyepiece and a $100.00. Most if not all eyepieces will do well "on axis" this is the area at the center of view in your eyepiece. Where you start to see the value for more expensive eyepieces is how they handle "Off Axis" that's the area towards the edges of an eyepiece.

The Explore Scientific range was built with fast scopes in mind. The internal optics are configured to avoid coma issues. And hence why Explore Scientific eyepieces sell for the price they do.

You should have no need for a coma corrector at f/ 4.9. I agree with the others above that you should go for ES eyepieces. I'd also include the 18mm if I were you. It's my most used eyepiece.
