Default Connecting Nexstar+ USB to Stellarium on a MacBook

Hello, finally happy to find a community like this. I recently received my AVX mount and tried to connect it to my computers. One of them is a PC and the other one is a Macbook Air. Both of them have Stellarium downloaded. I had a mini USB - standard USB cable lying around in my house so i decided to give it a try. My PC was a charm, I chose the COM port to which I connected the aligned mount and succesfully paired the mount with the PC. However when I tried to do the same thing with the Macbook, it didn't work. I connected the cable to one of the USB ports and when I came to the port settings in the configıration part, I couldn't recall the port I used, so I ran the ls /dev/* command on the Terminal but at the cu. section, there was only one Bluetooth connection which I think was not my telescope since I am expecting something with a serialusb extension.

    Thank You

So my question is, how can I connect my Nexstar+ USB hand controller to the Stellarium software on my Macbook Air?
