    Default NGC catalog for PC

    Hello everyone,

i'm newbie in astronomy, and interested in astrophotography. Can you advice some good interactive and user friendly NGC catalog (maybe online service or software) with filters, sorting by type of object, apparent magnitude, apparent dimensions and photos. now i'm using astrobin with wikipedia, and some sites, but it's not very useful.

You might try this one: https://dso-browser.com/

Also, SkyTools 3 (soon to be 4) is a great piece of planning software that will do what you need, but it is a bit on the expensive side. SkyTools 3 by Skyhound
