I do not know but I created one to track my progress on a Messier 40 trail. I grabbed data from Wikipedia and added some additional columns to include DEC and RA and my status via thumbnail images. If I could figure out a way I would upload (FWIW) but I apparently cannot upload a file.

Which spreadsheet for the Messiers? Just one in general or the Messier Marathon spreadsheet, or the M30, M70 and M110 award spreadsheets?

    Cheers,

Someone had made one that had pretty much all of them. Exported it from Sky Tools somehow.

The one I linked above was a SkyTools export. It contains all of the Messier's on one tab, and all of the Herschel 400 on the other tab. Is that what you are looking for?

And then there is this one: My DSO Lists in Spreadsheet Form, but it does not contain RA and Dec.

The one I linked in Post #4 here does have RA and Dec.

My dark site star party, this weekend, has been cancelled due to weather. So as a favor to me would you use this spreadsheet and tell me how it goes. Maybe I can get some vicarious satisfaction as this is the 3rd year in a row that the marathon weekend has been cancelled due to weather. See attached. This spreadsheet references the Pocket Sky Atlas page numbers.

    Cheer,

Meant to get back to you and say thanks! I ended up using yours for now with a few tweaks added colums for 'confirmations' and did some cell formatting basically aligning text. So cool! thanks again!
