Default "Our Night Sky" on Amazon Prime

There's a pretty good stargazing series on Amazon Prime. It's called "Our Night Sky" with Associate Professor Edward Murphy PhD of the University of Virginia. The first one is free if you're a prime member.

I bought the whole series. I didn't buy the high def version. The standard definition version is fine. I liked it because it's just about stargazing. There is some science explanation and some mythology explanation but it mostly focuses on what the amateur can see.

With prime, once you buy it you can stream it again which is good since he covers a lot of info in each segment.

I picked this up on dvd directly from The Great Courses on sale a few weeks ago. I do agree, it's a great stargazing series. I like the seasonal breakdown. I'm about half way through and really have enjoyed it immensely so far. Recommended.

You might enjoy these. The quality varies but the historical aspect makes up for it.
