    Default Eye relief?!



    Can someone please explain what this is exactly, in laymans terms? Thanks!! Oh ...and I'm sure I read somewhere I should keep both eyes open?!? Is that right?
    Skywatcher 8" Dobsonian, skywatcher 4" reflector EQ mounted, celestron 25x70

    Eye relief is how far you can be away from the eyepiece and still see the whole FOV. More eye relief is important for those who have to wear glasses while viewing.
