No, this stuff is hardly brand-specific. Many of the scopes you see from various retailers are made in the same factory in China.

1.25 barrel size should fit across different brand but there is no guarantee certain optical accessories will reach focus in a refractor or newtonian with limited focus travel.

Orion to Celestron should work fine.
My Seben $20 barlow's threads are different, it can't be used in 1.5x mode attached to Celestron eyepiece.
One of the odd brands on ebay .......

You don't really need a moon filter. Using a cardboard mask at the front with a smaller size opening is cheaper. You will be surprised how much you can cover before there is a noticeable drop in brightness.

The scope cap on your 114 has a built in Moon filter Raghulmano--Simply remove the small cap incorporated into the big cap and place it onto the fake cap that is actually the small cap holder---Now you are ready to view a bright Moon without having to use a filter-----------------------ZX

Yes, EPs are universal. 1.25" EPs will it in any 1.25" threaded focuser or diagonal. Same goes with 2". A 2" EP will not fit into a threded 1.25" diagonal and vice versa.
