Default How do you keep/store/carry your eye pieces?

Any suggestions how to store, keep, and carry around the eyepieces? My eye pieces have just the plastic covers for both sides. Just wondering if you have any good suggestions.

Used a old case and some packaging foam to create my own Frankenstein monster!

    See the image,

Keeps the stuff I use most, anything else goes in the "goodies" drawer!

    Cheers

I use a couple of inexpensive handgun cases, one for my eyepieces and the other for filters, finderscope, and Rigel Quikpoint, which seem to work fine.

Been thinking about this myself lately, and have looked around at various options, but none have struck me.

I was thinking about picking up a briefcase or something similar, but they are all more $$ then I want to spend right now.

In the US (I think Canada too) you can go online to Harbor Freight and they have two extremely useful and inexpensive aluminum cases that are perfect for EPs. The 11"x7" is my grab and go case and the 18"x13" is my dark site case.

    Hope this helps,

I used an old briefcase style laptop bag, The main compartment was fitted with cushion foam that you can buy at Micheal's, or any store that carries home decorating supplies and such non-sense. I cut pockets for the eyepieces, filter and camera. I can carry my my laptop in the outer pocket, and it has further pockets for other accessories. Total cost if I had to buy everything about $15.

I use several aluminum briefcase-style toolboxes from Canadian Tire. They come with foam inserts, and are often on sale for $20.
