I got one of those Harbor Freight cases with pluck foam, I got the briefcase for my notebook and such at the thrift store ¢ ,also the case I store my focuser in. I found that old cassette cases work good for cords, also from thrift store ¢¢.
The scope lives in a big Stanley© with wheels.
I have cut out the inside of a tool set case (also from TS ¢) to use for my dew heater (when I get around to building it).

My eyepieces came with little storage containers for them that I put in a pocket of the bag for the telescope.

YES! In cold weather I wear a sweat-hoodie with a "belly pouch" and if its really cold a coat over that.

For my stuff I use a couple of handgun cases like David does and one of the aluminum briefcase style cases that Keith uses.
    Both choices are quiet inexpensive.

    Bob

I use these for my Public Outreach nights. A pair of #1600 Pelicans. Holds enough equipment for 5 or 6 scopes.

I found an old case that used to carry a CPAP machine. It is heavy canvas, but retains its shape well. I lined it with foam. The eyepiece cases don't nest into the foam, they just rest on it.
