    Cool Eye relief

Could someone direct me to a visual [all puns intended] description of the mechanics of eye relief. I wear glasses but am not sure how much an impact it will have on viewing. I know I do have an astigmatism in one eye. I can see fairly functionally without glasses. Thanks everyone.
